Vision

We are committed to building a society where women and children not only live free from discrimination and violence but also have effortless access to their fundamental rights; including living with dignity, experiencing fair treatment, and having abundant opportunities allowing for their personal growth and development.

Our mission is to empower women and children by providing them with education, healthcare, legal support, and economic opportunities.  We advocate for their rights, raise awareness about issues affecting them, and collaborate with all stakeholders; communities, governments and international organisations, to create sustainable change.

Values

  • Women have full citizenship rights.
  • Gender justice and collective empowerment for women lead to change of the prevailing gender regimes in favour of the marginalized groups.
  • Knowledge production and sharing empower women collectively.
  • Building partnerships and alliances with institutions with shared goals and values empower women locally, regionally and internationally.

Objective

We support and amplify women’s needs and interests, particularly at the grassroots level, irrespective of their age, life cycle, social status, religious identity or other distinguishing factors.  This will empower women to express freely their communities’ necessities and ambitions, and will enhance their self-confidence and agency.   Empowerment will enable them to actively participate across all facets of community life and will eventually lead to their economic and social autonomy.  Our approach seeks to align international support with local knowledge and priorities, fostering gender justice in deeply rooted local contexts.  The inclusive participation of women from all marginalized groups and communities will ensure that their voices are heard and their aspirations and priorities are included in the gender justice agendas at national, regional, and international levels.
